• Setting out standard cladding systems
• Accurately cutting and installing CHC cladding systems
• Measuring and cutting materials
• Level out walls
• Install Top hat sections and flashings, including toe-moulds and window heads
SPECIFIC ROOFING RESPONSIBILITIES
• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
• Install and repair roof drainage systems including gutters, flashings and cappings
• Lay and secure roof sheeting or cladding
• Install wall cladding
• Drill holes for safety mesh
• Install safety mesh correctly to comply with Australian Standards
• Install gutter brackets and jondors at correct falls
• Roll out insulation over purlins
• Install concealed fixing clips
• Install and clop down concealed fixing decks
• Weather the roof decks by turning the sheets up and down
• Install pierce fixed rooves, screwing to the correct pattern
• Install box gutters and seal laps correctly
• Fold flashings
• Pack out walls and tophats
• Install PCV down pipes, both round and rectangular
• Set and install down pipe brackets
• Install and understand soaker flashings
• Be able to setup roof sheets square with gutter and structure. Run gutter line, and
manipulate sheets to keep straight
• Measure flashings and roof
• Cut materials
• Install Standing seams
• Install insulated panels
